Are you nervous about that first dance? Below
are some of our suggestions. We can help you make the moment beautiful
and memorable.
1. SELECT A GREAT SONG
Pick something that speaks to you, maybe the
first song you heard together or something that reminds you of a
special moments. Most wedding dances are slow romantic songs. However,
you might want to consider something less traditional. Whatever you
choose, we can help you choreograph it from your entrance to your
grand finish.

2. PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE.
You’re bound to be a little nervous. .
We recommend a minimum of four hours of private instruction plus we
suggest you practice together a minimum of 30 minutes a couple of
times a week in the weeks before the wedding. If you know your dance
very well, you will have more confidence. Listen to your music in the
car. And, be sure to practice in a space about the size of the dance
floor at your reception |

3. Make sure your band, DJ and photographer know what you are doing.
After all, you want the right music at the right time, and you want
those special photos perfectly timed. In fact, it’s not a bad idea to
perform your dance for your photographer in advance of your wedding
day
4 No matter what happens, keep dancing! Missteps will happen. We’ll
teach you some tips to help cover them up. And if you get completely
lost, remember, the man leads and the lady follows! Do that, and
you’ll be fine!
